To organize, establish and carry out programs designed for the advancement of Chicano/Mexicano community leadership in Weld County, Colorado and to combat absenteeism amongst Chicano/ Mexicano students in Weld County educational institutions in an effort to lower the drop out rate amongst Chicano/Mexicano Students in Weld County Schools by encouraging persons to improve their conditions through the exercise of the democratic, constitutional and legal rights of self-expression, self-organization, and participation in decision-making, policies and program affecting their lives, and to achieve the full participation by such persons in the benefits and responsibilities of first class citizenship in this society. A further purpose of Al Frente is to aid individuals in achieving their full potential and a sense of dignity and self-respect; to provide a focus and forum for developing programs and ideas designed to improve the community and the environment in Weld County, Colorado.
